Delimit Software Inc. ("DS") respects and protects the privacy of its customers. Customers are individuals ("You") to whom DS ("We") provide services and/or licenses and license keys for use of our software. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect and use customers' ("Your") information. In this Policy, "personal information" means information that identifies or could be used by or on behalf of DS to identify an individual, but not including encoded, anonymized, or publicly available data.

When you register for a free trial of

By you filling out a form on our website and registering for the free trial.
When you purchase a license to use
our software
Your name, email, phone and zip code/postal code.
By you filling out your order at checkout.
When you activate your license key Your computer identifier and/or computer name.
By you clicking on the 'Activate' button on the software's License Wizard.
When you use our Help Desk Your name, email address, browser version and OS version.
By you submitting a ticket requesting support or information.

How is the Information Used

The information DS collects and uses is limited to the purpose of enabling and supporting the customers' use of our software and services. DS uses such personal information and other information it collects in order to provide customer support, for identification and authentication purposes, for license key activation/validation and to contact you about your license status. Unless you ask us not to, we may also contact you via email to tell you about specials and promotions, new releases of our software, products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.


How is the Information Shared

DS does not and will not give, sell, rent or loan any personal information to any third party.

In rare situations, we may have to disclose such information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to establish or exercise our legal rights and defend against legal claims, or as otherwise required by law.


How is the Information Stored and Protected

DS uses appropriate technical, organizational and administrative security measures to protect any information it holds in record from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Standard safeguards such as firewalls and secure passwords are used. Communication between client computers and the server are encrypted in flight and information collected is stored encrypted at rest.

No company or service can guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of information collected. In the event of a data breach, DS will issue a breach notification to the affected parties, without undue delay, and no later than 72 hours after having become aware of the breach.


Access to Personal Information and Right to be Forgotten

DS acknowledges that you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information. if you wish to no longer be contacted, or wish to view, correct, amend or delete your personal information, you may contact DS with such a request by using the Contact Link on our website or the contact information at the end of this page. We will address such requests within a reasonable time frame (30 business days or less).


Information Retention

DS retains personal information stored about its customers as long as needed, to provide service and support to its customers, subject to compliance with this policy. We retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
